Snow Queen

It's December and the weather usually turns to snow! Gecko Galz has a new challenge for this month - Snow Queen!

I made some samples that capture the theme and the season!  First up, a trio of ATCs in black and white from the Deco Dreamland Digital Stamps set. I embossed various areas using Extreme Peacock powder to give it wonderful sparkle!

Next is a Christmas zine, collage style. Gecko Galz printables are so fun to play with! I used printables from Christmas PastGypsy Market, and Winter Beauties.

Lastly is this large squash book which I'm entering at **ART*JOURNAL*JOURNEY! A squash book is 3 pieces of square paper folded, adhered together, and then squashed down into a book. Usually, these are made with 8x8 or smaller squares so this one is large when fully unfolded because I used 12x12 paper! Featured in it are lovely Snow Queens from Gecko Galz!

So now it's your turn! What will you create for our challenge? Stop by the blog for more inspiration and to dazzle us with your creation!

  4. Your Christmas zine was fabulous. I've always wanted to make one of those. I was really impressed with your art and your blog, because I'm not sure I've been here before.

I was mesmerized by the smash book. Goodness you put a lot of work and creativity into this one. Perfect folding and great stamps and stamping. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey. I'd love to see more of your beautiful art at AJJ, too.

Have a safe, enjoyable, and joyous New Year and 2019.
