Rubber band stamping

A new month - February already! - means there's a new challenge at the Mix It Up Challenge Blog!

The theme is always anything goes - but with an optional twist. And this month, it's add rubber band stamping!

I made a trio of ATCs that are covered in various napkins, then stamped with my rubber bands that were wound around a small wooden block!

They all have different looks but have the stamping in common. Depending on how you wind the bands and how many, you can get chunky or sparse, wide or narrow. This first one is softer - I stamped with matte gel and then added pink flocking. Makes an interesting design that doesn't overcome the whole picture.

The other 2 are bolder with embossing.

I'm entering these at Through The Craft Room Door!

So what will you create for our challenge? The challenge runs all month & you can enter up to five projects and can combine our challenge with as many others as you wish! Stop by to enter your project - with or without a twist! And check out my teamies' creations!

    3. Who knew you could do so much with a little rubber band! I love the subtle texture on the first one. The last two remind me of Japanese writing. Very cool ATC's!
